WICHITA, Kan., Aug. 3, 2011 -- The Kansas Masonic Home (KMH) has promoted Mark Garriott to director of human resources. He previously was the senior living community's human resources coordinator.
"Mark's experience in his former job at KMH is a great foundation for the increased responsibilities expected of the director of humanresources," says Kansas Masonic Home chief executive officer Matthew Bogner.
Garriott is a Wichita, Kan., native and earned his BA in business from Wichita State University in 2007. He completed minors in management,human resources and marketing. Garriott joined the Kansas Masonic Home the following September.
He will lead employee and management recruitment and retention and other human resources management functions, including training, developmentand compliance. He will also be deeply engaged in the resident-centeredculture change underway at Kansas Masonic Home.
