Cash, Security and Property Gifts
Cash:
Cash gifts influence the lives of those in need today. When you make a cash gift you have the right to specify a program or area of interest that you would like to support. Donations are Tax Deductable. Cash donations for qualified charitable purposes can thus be exempt from federal income tax. Your tax savings depend on your tax bracket, your other deductions and other factors. Typically, the higher your tax bracket, the greater your tax savings. Be sure to keep tax receipts and other records of your gifts for tax purposes.
Securities (stocks, mutual funds, bonds):
Making a donation of long-term capital gain securities can offer substantial tax benefits. Frequently, these types of gifts are more advantageous than simply writing a check. Tax laws offer special incentives for gifts of non-cash property, especially when it has increased in value since it was acquired. If you are interested in giving a gift of securities, contact Robert Roswurm, at (316) 269-7513, or e-mail

Real Estate and Personal Property:
The Kansas Masonic Home accepts gifts of real estate and other real property. These gifts can be given outright or set up as a differed gift. We also accept other gifts of personal property including; books, furniture, artwork, etc. Since we must maintain state and local licensing please contact us prior to making your donation. If you would like to donate real estate (home, automobile, farm, oil and gas lease, etc.) or other personal property please contact Robert Roswurm, at (316) 269-7513, or e-mail
