Whether you have a doctor visit or would like to be included in a pre-scheduled KMH activity or event trip, your Concierge will be glad to make the necessary arrangement.
KMH Transportation Hours of Service Normal transportation hours are from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please schedule appointments before 3:15 so that return transportation can arrive at KMH by 5:00 pm.
If your medical provider is outside the city of Wichita will be the responsibility of family members.
Medical transportation for skilled nursing residents is $20 per appointment. If you would like assistance during your appointment, arrangement will be made for a KMH staff member to attend with you. A $20 per hour charge will apply.
Scheduled Non-Medical Transportation Life enhancement and event coordinators arrange weekly trips to both Dillon's and Wal-Mart for Towers' residents and bi-weekly shopping trips for residents in the Manor.
Additional social events are scheduled regularly and included on the monthly activity calendar for each area. Transportation to and from these events is free. Please sign up for any outings that you would like to attend in your resident information area, or notify your Concierge.
Non-Scheduled Transportation If your plan for the day includes a movie date or trip to the mall—or any excursion no on the KMH event schedule—and you will need transportation, your Concierge will be glad to arrange for a local carrier to pick you up and bring you home. As carrier availability and fees vary, following is a list of local providers and rates.
